KFC CASE STUDY - SUCCESSFUL PROJECT DELIVERY

Project Management Institute are hosting the following event this Thursday, 18th June 2020 at 5:30pm AEST:

KFC and Collins Foods Limited ran an 18 month project to configure their Payroll System for a new award for their 750 stores nationwide.

Collins Foods, as the largest Franchisee of KFC in Australia, with over 250 stores, had a keen stake in the success of this project. Like most large projects, there were significant risks. The project risks included more than just the standard technical correctness of the integrated system.

This project was being run with remote teams and a highly complex stakeholder structure due to the nature of the franchise business. What did the team do to successfully manage their risk within an ever-changing landscape, to deliver a system on time and which paid their 37,000 team members correctly?

Join us as Nathan Lynch (Head of Major Projects at Collins Foods) and Brett Cowan (Executive Director at AgileXperts), walk us through their experiences and lessons learned, and what these experiences mean for the future.

Key Learnings

  1. Project Delivery and what Success looks like;

  2. Complexities involved with a Payroll Project Delivery;

  3. Having multiple stakeholders – the complexities involved; and
